The East Union VFD protects an area of 34 square miles with a population of approximately 1500 residents. We also provide fire protection to East Union School, the largest of the four county schools. We respond to the needs of our community with 24 members and run out of 2 stations. Our fire protection district carries a Class 8 rating as calculated by the Mississippi State Rating Bureau.

Our department runs an engine, and a tanker out of each station, along with a brush truck from station 1. We are currently awaiting delivery of a Pierce Quick Attack Pumper that will replace Engine 5 located at station 2.
