At the young age of 30, Ben's life was cut short due to a motorcycle accident. Ben came to the New Albany Family in March of 2009 and in his short 2 years became such a big part of our family that he will be in our hearts and minds forever. To know Ben, was to know a gentle big MAN! Never a day would go by that when you met him in the station he had a big smile or a quick laugh to offer you. A person like Benjamin Israel Brown does not come along everyday, but we knew the day he became a part of our fire dept family, he was going to be something special. Ben not only worked in New Albany, but also Volunteered his time with the Pontotoc Fire Dept. We are greatful to say we knew you in this life and look forward to meeting with you again.
